No :148506/72/73) committed to harnessing Nepal’s rich water resources to generate clean, reliable, and sustainable hydropower. Founded with a vision to contribute to the nation’s economic and social progress, the company focuses on developing environmentally responsible and technically sound hydropower projects that support Nepal’s growing energy needs.

Nepal is a nation enriched with abundant rivers, streams, and natural landscapes—resources that hold immense potential for hydropower development. While water alone may not generate economic value, the ability to convert this natural resource into clean, renewable energy through modern technology can greatly strengthen the country’s economy and contribute to long-term national prosperity. Despite the remarkable potential of hydropower, Nepal has yet to fully capitalize on this opportunity.

It is with this belief in Nepal’s hydropower future that Sumnima Hydropower Company Limited was established. Our company aims to contribute to national development by responsibly harnessing water resources and transforming them into a reliable source of energy. We are currently developing a hydropower project that is under construction, designed with careful consideration of technical, environmental, and geographical factors. The project incorporates modern engineering solutions, high-quality equipment, and advanced technology to ensure efficient and sustainable operation.
